What we do first
Before building
anything at all, we work out how the work happens today.
You think you need more people, more hours, or another piece of software. What you may need is to find out where your operation is losing time — without anyone having noticed.

As long as it takes, inside the operation.
Measure
Every leak in hours/month and €/year, with the assumptions alongside it.
Untangle
The highest-impact knot first. And not all of them need software.
